Application Process

Admissions Goal

Our primary goal in the recruitment and admissions process is to help each family determine whether our school values and educational goals match with their own, and to ascertain if our school setting is the one that will work best for their child.  It is essential to the well being and successful placement of a child that their family have a basic understanding of the Montessori philosophy and agree to the methods of educating the child.  With this goal in mind, we have set up the following application process.

The Pre-Enrollment Visits

Parents who are interested in enrolling their children are welcome to tour the school and are strongly encouraged to schedule a classroom observation.  Appointments for observation must be made in advance.  All visitors must check in with the office and obtain a visitor’s pass.  Those who plan to observe must also review the observation guidelines available in the office.  Please be aware that your observation will be most productive if you observe without your child.  This is particularly true in regard to Children’s House parents.

Application

1. Receive application/Montessori information package and review material contained.  (pay application fee) 
2. Complete application and provide required documents:
• Completed and signed application form
• 2 photos size 2.5x 2.5 cm. or 3 x 4 cm.
• Copy of student’s passport, ID card, or birth certificate
• Copy of parent’s passport or I.D. card
• House Registration (Tabien Baan)
• Copy of records or transcript from student’s previous school (if applicable)
• Completed and signed Authorization of Student Pick-Up form (kindergarten only)
