Our teachers
At MHP we develop a community that feels much like family for our children, parents, and staff alike. Our Montessori-trained, well-experienced Thai teachers have been with us for more than 10 years and our international teachers stay for at least 2 years in the same classroom. They understand that the child is at the centre of education, and that nurturing, encouraging relationships developed between student and teacher are valuable and take time to cultivate.
Nadine and Khun Nok
Ms. Nadine and Khun Nok who has been with us since 2003. They work together in the Kindergarten classroom, introducing and directing children between the ages of 3-6 in the Montessori prepared environment. They are passionate about their work as children’s house directresses. They take children through each stages of development with love, care and patience.
Angie and Khun Nit
Lower elementary has two teachers: Ms. Angelique (Angie) and Khun Nit (who has been with us since 1999). They are both Montessori trained and experienced in directing and managing the Lower Elementary classroom. They guide children through the discovery of academics with concrete materials until they have an abstract understanding of topics in a cosmic curriculum that encourages their interest and intrinsic motivation to learn more about the interesting and diverse world that we inhabit.
Tiffany and Khun Nong
The Upper Elementary classroom also has two teachers: Ms. Tiffany and Khun Nong, are both Montessori experienced. Children enjoy participating in project-based learning based on Montessori principles with interdisciplinary lessons which help students in their academic understanding, and also help to pioneer school-wide permaculture or robotics projects. Exercising their own self study skills and owning their own pace of learning.
